About Me
Currently based in New York City working as software engineer for
Meta
FAIR. I am originally from
Colombia,
started out as mechanical engineer for a machine manufacturing company in Colombia for the packaging
automation
sector. During the past 7 years, I’ve been involved in startup environments and big tech, acquiring ability
to wear multiple hats
along the way.
Graduated with a Master’s in Technical Entrepreneurship and Management at the
University of
Rochester. Recently gained an Advanced Graduate Certificate from Columbia University. My thirst for new
ventures and
new technical skills has led me to become an outcome driven engineer with experience in web development,
programming, quantitative techniques, data analytics, business development, project management, and recently
working
on interfaces aiming at advancing research in artificial intelligence. Able to
structure a project from idea to design - prototype to implementation.
Passionate about utilizing
analytical
technologies to design solutions for clients and external stakeholders to leverage data and act upon
insights. I
thrive in startup environments where going the extra mile is necessary. My spare time is usually spent on
family,
drafting business ideas (tech unicorns or laundromats, doesn't matter), coding, soccer, and
snowboarding in the
hated winter.
